Biography

Field Day is the work of one J. Phua from Singapore. Just who exactly is this J. Phua that we speak of and what does he do, you ask. Unfortunately, the sensitive nature of Mr. Phua’s job forbids us to give you any straight and/or satisfying answers. We are, for example, not at liberties to discuss his intelligence work for the government. Or how he procured cash in excess of US eighty nine, ninety-five per annum to fund this Blog. It will all come to light in the next elections, Mr. Phua assures us.

We are; however, free to talk about the attractive woman Mr. Phua married. Her name is Sarah. They met in St. Augustine’s High, where he was voted most likely to take over the world, and she was voted most likely to send nations into war. Raised in a household tended by two butlers, two gardeners, four chefs, three drivers, eight chambermaids, and a jockey; Sarah not only has money of her own but she’s a trained dietician as well. All their meals are carefully prepared to accommodate Mr. Phua’s calorie count. She buys him a new car every quarter. Summers are spent in the Swiss Alps, where they have a log cabin overlooking the borders of Italy, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. And winters are spent in Maldives, where they have a yacht registered under the name, Sailing Liso, which is Portuguese for “Smooth Sailing.”

On weekends when they’re not entertaining guests in their homes, or distributing food and clothing to the homeless, the Phuas enjoy spending quality time listening to their extensive CD collection over a bottle of cognac. Mr. Phua has kindly agreed to introduce some of the artists he finds exciting or interesting from his extensive CD collection, by way of posting them here. Hopefully, you too will find them exciting or interesting. If you own the copyright to any of the songs posted, please write us should you want the songs be taken down.
